The Science of Climate Change
The National Research Council of the USA is the working arm of the National Academies of the United States, which are the nation's pre-eminent sources of high-quality, objective advice to the nation on science, engineering, and health matters.  The National Academies include National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, and the Institute of Medicine.  At the request of the U.S. Congress, the National Research Council has investigated the science on climate change and its causes.  To foster the public's understanding of climate change science, the National Academy of Sciences and the National Research Council have produced the following video (Climate Change:  Lines of Evidence) that explains how scientists have arrived at the state of knowledge about climate change and its causes, and provides answers to common questions about the science of climate change.
